On August 27th, in the farm team regular season between Hokkaido Nippon-Ham and Oisix Niigata, the 18th game of the series, held at The Fighters Kamagaya Stadium, Hokkaido Nippon-Ham win 7-5.

Hokkaido Nippon-Ham starting pitcher, Ryusei Fujita, retired the side in order in the first inning, and in the top of the second inning, despite having runner in scoring position, he kept runs at 0. He retired the side in order in the top of the third inning, and left mound after 3 innings, 36 pitches, 2 hit, no Hit by Pitch or hit batsmen, 2 strike out, and no runs. In the top of the fourth inning, pitcher Yamato Kato runs two-run homer to Keiji Konishi (his 9th of the season), but in the top of the fifth inning, pitcher Suguru Fukuda retired the side in order.

The offense was held to just one hit through four innings. However, in the bottom of the fifth inning, hit by Taiki Hamada and two Walk loaded the bases with one bases loaded, and Ryosuke Myose hit an RBI single to score one run. With the bases still loaded and two bases loaded, Leo Shibata hit his eighth home run of the season, a bases loaded slam, to take the lead.

In the top of the 6th inning, pitcher Ryusei Kawano pitcher a scoreless inning, followed by pitcher Towa Yokoyama in the 7th and Ruei-Yang Gu Lin in the 8th, all without runs. In the bottom of the 8th, Kane Edokpolo Kane hit his 17th home run of the season, a two-run shot, to add to the lead. In the top of the 9th inning, with a five-run lead, pitcher Koji Fukutani gave up three runs, partly due to a fielding error by his teammates, but the team managed to hold onto the lead. Haruki Nishikawa recorded two hit for Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, who secured a come-from-behind win.
