On June 16th, in the farm team regular season between Chiba Lotte Marines and Oisix Niigata, the 12th game of the series, held at Lotte Urawa Baseball Stadium, Chiba Lotte Marines lost 2-8.

Chiba Lotte Marines 's starting pitcher, Yuji Nishino allowed the first run in the top of the second inning on an RBI single. In the top of the fourth inning, he gave up a solo home run to Walker (his 11th of the season), a two-run RBI single to Keita Sonobe in the top of the fifth inning, and a two-run homer to Haruto Okawa (his 4th of the season) in the top of the sixth inning, giving up six runs by the end of the sixth inning.

In the bottom of the 4th inning, the offense scored a run with a timely hit by Ryusei Terachi Kaneda after hit by Ko Matsukawa and Torao Matsukawa put runners on first and second with two outs. In the bottom of the 5th inning, consecutive hits by Kazuki Fujita and Yudai Fujioka brought in a second run.

However, in the top of the 7th inning, relief pitcher Hikaru Otani gave up two runs on a timely hit and sacrifice fly. The offense was reduced to just two hit from the 6th inning onward, and the game ended 2-8. Starting pitcher Nishino was his second loss of the season, giving up 9 hit, 2 Walk 7 strike out 6 runs on 98 pitches over 6 innings. Meanwhile, Fujioka had 3 hit 1 RBI, and Kaneda had 2 hit 1 RBI.
