On October 19th, the "23rd Miyazaki Phoenix League" game between Chiba Lotte Marines and Tokyo Yakult was held at Miyakonojo Sports Park Koala no March Stadium, and Chiba Lotte Marines won 4-3.

Chiba Lotte Marines' starting pitcher Ryotaro Mori gave up 2 runs in the top of the 2nd inning after a Walk put a runner on 1st with 1 out, followed by two consecutive RBI doble for 2 runs. He faced situations with runner in scoring position in the top of the 5th as well but held firm, leaving the mound after 6 innings, 80 pitches, 6 hit, 3 Walk, and 4 strike out, allowing 2 runs.

Meanwhile, the lineup put runner on base in every inning through the 5th but failed to score due to a lack of timely hits. However, in the bottom of the 6th, two Walk created a 2-out, 2nd and 3rd base situation, and Ko Matsukawa 's RBI hit brought the game back to a tie. In the top of the 7th, the second pitcher Oto Hayasaka allowed the go-ahead run, but immediately in the bottom of the 7th, consecutive hit by Konoshin Tomiyama and Ryo Sugiyama created a 1-out, 2nd and 3rd base opportunity. Ryusei Terachi then hit a timely triple to successfully complete the comeback.

In the top of the 8th, pitcher Radney, and in the top of the 9th, pitcher Hayate Miyazaki each held the opponent scoreless to end the game. Chiba Lotte Marines, who secured their third consecutive win with this comeback victory, saw Ryusei Terachi record 2 hit and 2 RBI including the go-ahead hit, while Koshiro Wada and Ryo Sugiyama also marked 2 hit each.
