Chiba Lotte Marines published the "The Marines Math Drill Summer 2026 Edition" and distributed it free of charge to 110 public elementary schools in Chiba City. Also, today, Friday the 10th, as part of the social contribution project "MARINES LINKS," player Ryusei Terachi visited Chiba Municipal Takasu Third Elementary School and held a presentation ceremony for the "The Marines Math Drill Summer 2026 Edition."

At the presentation ceremony, Terachi personally handed out The Marines math workbooks to student representatives from each grade. After the ceremony, Terachi toured the school, interacting with the students by exchanging high-fives. During his tour, the students also sang Terachi's cheering song in unison, sending him enthusiastic support.

The Marines Arithmetic Drill is a self-study material consisting of problems related to Chiba Lotte Marines and baseball, produced in cooperation with the NPO Chiba Arithmetic and Mathematics Enjoyment Association. This is the 45th edition since its first distribution in 2011. The summer edition for 2026 was created as a review material for the learning content up to July. Player visits began in 2011, and although the presentation ceremonies were canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the spread of the new coronavirus, they resumed in 2022.

▼Comment from Ryusei Terachi ▼
"I was so happy to receive such a warm welcome from the students, including them singing our cheering song. The Marines math drill includes information about the players, so I hope it will be an opportunity for the children to learn about us. Summer vacation is coming up, so I hope they will use this drill to study and have fun. As for myself, I will use the support I received from the children today as motivation, face myself honestly, and work hard, building things up one step at a time."
