"I am happy to have won the leading hitter award among so many great hitters. As I always say, I think I was able to prove that I am not just a power hitter, but a hitter with power. I want to keep hitting in the 'Persol CS Pa' and win the Japan Series title together with the team."

Misho Nishikawa 155 hits (First award)
Ryoma Nishikawa 155 hits (First award)

Despite a temporary absence, he maintained a monthly batting average of .250 or higher, avoiding the "sophomore slump" and winning a title for the second consecutive year.
Ryoma Nishikawa earned his first batting title in his 11th professional year. In his third year since transferring, he got off to a strong start with 34 hits in March and April, and showed his presence in June with 29 monthly hits and a .345 batting average. Although his form dipped slightly toward the end of the season, he consistently accumulated hits. Furthermore, this was the first time in his career he played in every game, reaching the required number of plate appearances for the first time in two years.

"Receiving messages from so many people made me realize how many were supporting me, and the feeling of winning the most hits title is gradually sinking in. It is an honor to share this title with Misho Nishikawa, who happens to have the same surname. Seeing him hit this much despite the difference in the number of games and plate appearances, I felt once again that he is truly a wonderful hitter. I will re-examine myself from scratch next year and work hard again so that I won't lose to the younger players yet."
