On October 26th, Motonobu Tanishige and Tomoya Satozaki appeared on the Persol Pacific League TV official YouTube channel's "Monday Pa-Tele Iki." They decided on the player for the annual "Monthly Pa-Tele Grand Prize," who shone the brightest throughout the year.

The two have been selecting the player who shone the brightest each month as the "Monthly Pa-Tele Grand Prize." In this final broadcast of the season, the player chosen for the annual "Monthly Pa-Tele Grand Prize" through the season was Fukuoka Softbank's Ryoya Kurihara. This season, as the main gun, he showed a performance with a .271 batting average, 40 Home Run, and 118 RBI, winning the titles for most Home Run and most RBI.

Satozaki said, "After all, a great record achieved while winning the championship goes up one or even two levels," and Tanishige agreed, saying, "It has value." Satozaki continued, "The results left while having to do team batting and having to win are a step up," praising Ryoya Kurihara for leading the team to three consecutive championships.

Also, Tanishige started by saying, "Ryoya Kurihara is an incredibly humble man..." He revealed the true face of the double-crown winner: "When I met him yesterday (at the stadium), he bowed properly. Shinya Miyamoto was there too, and since he greeted us with a bow, I said, 'Kuri, you hit 40, right? You're the double-crown winner, right? You can just hold your head high and greet us,' but he's the kind of guy who says, 'No, no, no...'"

In the usual Monthly Pa-Tele, the two have a standard phrase "It's nothing special!", but Tanishige honestly said, "It's amazing." Satozaki also highly evaluated him, saying, "You can't hit 40 just on momentum."

Additionally, from other teams, the nominees were this season's leading hitter Reyes, pitcher Shoma Fujihira who recorded a career-high 30 saves, pitcher Kaima Taira who became the first in NPB history to win the Best reliever Award, Most Saves Award, and Best ERA Award in the same career, Koki Yamaguchi who broke the club record for most Home Run since moving to Chiba, and pitcher Espinoza who won his first Most win Award.
