Today, Monday, January 26th, we will introduce the first professional records of rookies from Orix Buffaloes, Hokkaido Nippon-Ham, and Fukuoka Softbank.

Orix

Orix Buffaloes 's first draft pick Yusuke Mugitani The player participated in 79 games. On April 3rd, he made his first professional starting line-up and recorded his first professional hit, a leadoff triple. On the 12th of the same month, he stole his first professional stolen base, and on August 26th, he hit his first professional Home Run. Ryoma Yamanaka The player recorded two hit, including a hit in his professional debut on April 5th, and hit his first professional Home Run on the 17th of the same month.

Second-place pitcher Naruki Teranishi made his professional debut on May 15th, pitching three runs innings, and then earned his first professional win on June 13th against The Giants, pitching well and allowing only four hit and one runs in five innings. Sixth-reliever pitcher Raiku Katayama, who pitched in 21 games, also earned his first professional win on August 1st and his first professional save in the final game of the season on October 5th. Third-place pitcher Leo Yamaguchi made his professional debut and first start on October 5th, pitching one runs.

Hokkaido Nippon-Ham

Hokkaido Nippon-Ham first-round draft pick Leo Shibata and fifth-round Shu Yamagata made their first-team debuts. Shibata, who is also known for his two-way talent, showed his strength as hitter Home Run hitting home runs in the farm team, but also pitcher in four games for the first team. He made his professional debut and first start on July 26th, and pitched 2.2 inning as the second reliever on August 23rd, recording his first professional hold.

Yamagata made his debut on April 15th as defense replacement in the eighth inning, and on the 18th of the same month he made his first starting line-up start as the eighth batter and second baseman, recording his first professional hit with an infield hit in his first at-bat. He continued to play thereafter, showcasing his solid defense, and on May 13th he recorded his first professional RBI and on June 4th he hit his first professional Home Run.

Fukuoka Softbank

Fukuoka Softbank The second draft of the Yudai Shoji The player made his first professional appearance in May. He was eliminated once, but on July 10, his second promotion, he shot his first starting line-up in his first professional hit and went on to score his first stolen base as well. 6th place and Shunsuke Iwasaki pitcher made his first professional appearance as a fifth baseman on May 25, striking out 2 struck out but making a bittersweet debut with 3 runs in one inning.

6th place in training Toya Kawaguchi pitcher was awarded a contract in June and made his debut as the second batter on the 21st of the same month. He had a good debut, allowing one hit and strike out out two in one inning, but was removed from the roster in July and has not been promoted since. He will start again as a development player in the 2026 season, and it will be interesting to see if he can continue to produce results.
