The regions where Spanish is the official language are all baseball powerhouses such as the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and the Republic of Cuba. Currently, Pacific League also has a large number of Spanish-speaking players, and if you look at Major League Baseball, Spanish-speaking players make up an even larger percentage of the total.

So, in this article, we will introduce some Spanish words related to baseball with useful example sentences. Just as you are somewhat happy to hear Japanese when you are abroad, the players will be happy to hear you cheering in their native language.
