T-Okada, who served as a commentator for the "Orix vs. Lotte" program, which was produced by MBS Radio and broadcast on Nippon Broadcasting System, commented on Lotte's first draft pick, Misho Nishikawa.

Nishikawa became the fastest rookie to reach 100 hit in a season this season, and T-Okada commented, "That's amazing. He originally came in as the No. 1 outfielder of his generation, but he's been putting up exciting results since the pre-season games."

After being demoted to the farm team, Nishikawa returned to the first team in the interleague games and had a batting average of over 30% in July and August. T-Okada analyzed, "I think (at the farm team) he had time to really reexamine his batting," and added, "I don't think he was so obsessed with numbers in college, but now he's in a world where he's chased by numbers every day."
