On the 6th, Rakuten outfielder Ryosuke Tatsumi reached seven years of registered playing time, fulfilling the conditions for eligibility for domestic free agency. After the 1-2 loss to Softbank (Mizuho PayPay) that day, he said, "I would like to thank everyone who has been involved with me over the past seven years."

He joined the team as the first pick in the 2019 draft from Ritsumeikan University. He is known for his solid defense, making the most of his strong arm and speed, and has won the Golden Glove Award for four consecutive years since 2021. Last season, he also won the most hit and was named to the Best Nine. GM Ishii commented, "I congratulated him for being able to perform well in the first team until he was able to obtain free agency." He added that they have had discussions up to this point, "The season is an important part, so we've been talking about discussing various things going forward."
