A native of the Dominican Republic, Acevedo signed a development contract with Lotte this season and was registered as a regular player on July 25th. A 195cm, 104kg right-handed batter and thrower, he boasts a fast swing speed and power. He has played in 81 games so far in the minor leagues, recording a batting average of .263, 8 Home Run, and 43 RBI.
