On the 3rd, Lotte removed outfielder Kyota Fujiwara from the active roster due to pain in his right back. Fujiwara appeared on the ground against Nippon-Ham Fighters that day, working up a sweat by jogging. In his seventh season, he has played in a career-high 104 games, posting a batting average of .274, four Home Run, 24 RBI, and 15 stolen base bases.

outfielder Acevedo has been registered in place of Fujiwara. A native of the Dominican Republic, Acevedo signed a development contract with Lotte this season and was registered as a regular player on July 25th. A 195cm, 104kg right-handed batter and thrower, he boasts a fast swing speed and power. He has played in 81 games so far in the minor leagues, recording a batting average of .263, 8 Home Run, and 43 RBI.
