Wolf Aaron, who won the gold medal in the men's 100kg judo event at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, appeared on the ceremonial pitch on the 26th.
He appeared wearing a T-shirt with the words "KING OF SPORTS" and a picture of a lion printed on the front. He said of his baseball experience, "A long time ago, when I was about second grade, I went to try out for a club team in Shinkoiwa (my hometown) and was allowed to bat, but the ball hit my finger and I insisted it was a dead ball and they wouldn't let me in." He said he had no experience playing ball games, but still, for his third ceremonial pitch, he was enthusiastic, saying, "This time, I'm aiming for a straight pitch right down the middle and want to throw strike at the Dome, which is a warm-up game for the Dome." He threw the ball down from mound, and it landed bounce in the mitt of Seibu 's Furuichi, who was catcher.
Wolf Aaron won the gold medal in the men's 100kg judo category at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. He joined New Japan Pro-Wrestling in June and is currently training as a trainee in preparation for his debut match at Tokyo Dome on January 4, 2026.
