With the score tied at 2 in the 8th inning, Shuta Takano, who came on to pitch from this inning, allowed Hasegawa to hit a high bounce timely infield hit to third base, stopping the record. However, with two outs in the 9th inning, Naonori Yasuda infielder hit a timely shot up the middle to win the game.

In the NPB this season, Seibu achieved a no-hitter, one-run win against Softbank on April 18th (Belluna D) with a relay of Imai and Taira.
