In #32, we will introduce MEI from Fukuoka Softbank Hawks 's official dance and performance team "HONEY'S." A native of Fukuoka Prefecture, MEI was born on June 21.
Born in Fukuoka Prefecture on June 21, she is 156cm tall and enjoys gel nails, hair and makeup.
MEI, who is this season's vice-captain, has been dancing since she was a child. Currently, she is also an instructor at "HONEY'S DANCE ACADEMY," where she herself took lessons.
This is her 7th year with HONEY'S, and when asked why she continues to work with the company, she replied, "HONEY'S is an important job that I have spent my life to get, and it is my everything. I have had many experiences, both sour and sweet, that I could only experience at HONEY'S, but my unwavering love for HONEY'S has not changed over the years. I am so happy to be a part of HONEY'S and to be able to share so many feelings with The Hawks fans, and I hope to bring happiness to as many people as possible with my performance," she answered emphatically. "When I first saw her, I was surprised that there was such a cute girl because her face was so pretty. Her dancing was sharp and everything about her was perfect. The team was formed in 1993 when Fukuoka Dome (now MIZUHO PayPay Dome FUKUOKA) opened, and will mark its 32nd anniversary in 2025. The team name "Honeys" comes from the Honey Hawk, the team's official mascot.
In addition to dance performances at the stadium, they aim to be a presence that strengthens the bond between The Hawks and their fans through team promotion activities at events and TV appearances, as well as various fan services.
In 2025, in addition to their home base of Fukuoka, auditions were held in Tokyo and also in Taipei, the team's first overseas tour, and three members from Taipei joined the team.
