The results of the 2025 active player draft were announced on December 9th. The players' transfer destinations and comments are as follows:
Pitcher Keito Matsuura (Hokkaido Nippon-Ham pitcher → The Giants
"I am surprised that this has come so suddenly, but I am happy to be able to join The Fighters, a team I have been a fan of since I was in elementary school. I remember feeling truly happy from the bottom of my heart when I put on the jersey I had always dreamed of wearing during my time as The Fighters Junior. Although it has only been four years since I joined the team, I wanted to be a piece of the team that was aiming to win the championship. I believe that this opportunity has broadened the scope of my activities. I believe this is my chance, and I will do my best with my new team, believing in my potential and demonstrating my abilities. Thank you very much to all the fans for your warm support so far. I will do my best to earn your continued support."
Konosuke Tatsumi (Tohoku Rakuten Eagles → Hiroshima)
"I thought there might be an opportunity, so I wasn't surprised. I have nothing but gratitude to all the Tohoku fans who have supported me so much over the past three years. I am truly disappointed that I wasn't able to show you how I perform well in the first team. I think that doing well in my next place will be the best way to repay you all, so please continue to support me when I go to Hiroshima."
Shota Hiranuma (Saitama Seibu Lions Lions → Orix Buffaloes
"Five years ago, when it was decided that I would be transferred from The Fighters to The Lions, I was honestly disappointed. But when it was decided that I would be transferred to Orix Buffaloes this time, although I was of course sad, I found myself thinking, 'I'm looking forward to being able to play for Orix Buffaloes.' This is because I was confused as it was my first transfer, but thanks to all The Lions players and The Lions fans who welcomed me warmly, I was able to spend five irreplaceable years there. I am filled with gratitude to The Lions. The Lions fans, see you again at the stadium!"
pitcher Toshiya Nakamura (Chiba Lotte Marines → Fukuoka Softbank
"Thank you very much for the past seven years. Although I wasn't able to contribute to the team as much as I wanted, it was a truly fulfilling and enjoyable time. I met many people and received support, and the days I was able to pitch with the enthusiastic support of the fans are an irreplaceable treasure to me. For me, The Hawks are my hometown team in Kyushu, so I would like to start from scratch and do my best."
Tokumasa Chano Orix Buffaloes → Saitama Seibu Lions
"I have nothing but gratitude for the many experiences I have had with Orix Buffaloes Buffaloes since my development days. There were many times when things didn't go well, but I will never forget the support I received from the fans through those times. The Lions Buffaloes have an image of high individual ability, so I would like to give it my all and take on another challenge, starting from scratch. I will do my best to make my name known and be recognized by The Lions fans as soon as possible."
Naoki Sato, Fukuoka Softbank → Tohoku Rakuten Eagles
"I'm feeling positive and want to do my best in a new environment with a fresh mindset. When I think of playing baseball with new teammates next year, I feel a sense of expectation and nervousness. When I think of Rakuten Eagles, I think of Asamura, and I'm looking forward to playing with such an admired player. The Hawks are full of really great people, and these six years have felt really short. Having been able to play here is a treasure to me. I feel sorry for all The Hawks fans that I wasn't able to achieve any great results despite joining the team as the first pick in the draft, but I would be happy if you would continue to support me even though I'm on a new team."

Taiki Hamada (Tokyo Yakult → Hanshin Tigers
Naoto Chino (Yokohama DeNA → Chunichi
Masanosuke Hama (Chunichi Dragons → Yokohama DeNA)
Hirohiro Inoue, Hanshin Hanshin Tigers → Chiba Lotte Marines
