Three teams with triple-digit Home Run runs occupied Class A.
In 2025 Pacific League, the three teams with 100 or more Home Run hits all placed in Class A, while the three teams with less than 80 Home Run hits all sank to Class B. This result also suggests the significant impact of the number of Home Run on team performance in the current NPB, where the trend of high pitching and low hitting is increasing.
In this issue, we present a look at the top five Home Run number of players on a team, Pacific League for each team. In addition, we will also look at the number of games played, OPS, and "AB/HR," which indicates the number of At Bat runs required to record one Home Run hit, to recap each player's performance.
Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters

Reyes, who won Home Run title, was also the only player in the league to hit more than 30 home run. He was also the only player to reach the required number of plate appearances to achieve an OPS of over .800, and his AB/HR ratio was an outstanding 14.88. He showed off a truly overwhelming batting performance, worthy of winning the title.
Chusei Mannami also recorded 20 Home Run, fourth in the league, and his AB/HR was third among players who reached the required number of at-bats, demonstrating his natural power as one of the team's main batters. Shun Mizutani also hit 12 Home Run in 87 games, drawing arches at a high pace, demonstrating his excellent batting sense as he did last season.
Kotaro Kiyomiya led the team with 12 Home Run in 577 at-bats, posting an OPS of .722 throughout the year. Yuya Gunji also showed high productivity with 10 Home Run, a batting average of .297, and an OPS of .799, and contributed to The Fighters' success as a key player, batting fourth in the postseason.
Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles

Voit hit 13 Home Run in just 67 games, the most Home Run the team despite joining mid-season. His AB/HR ratio of 18.69 was second only to Reyes among players with at least 200 plate appearances, and he also posted impressive performances in areas other than Home Run, with a batting average of .300 and an OPS of .882. He demonstrated the skills that earned him the MLB Home Run title.
Hideto Asamura achieved the feat of hitting 2,000 hit on May 24th, but had a tough season, including a slump in his batting and having to return to the minor leagues for readjustment. However, he showed signs of recovery towards the end of the season, hitting four Home Run in September, and posting a solid performance with nine Home Run, second on the team, and an OPS of .715.
Despite being demoted to the minor league due to poor performance
Ryosuke Tatsumi hit seven Home Run, the same as the previous year, and Franco, in his third year in Japan, also recorded seven Home Run in 101 games. In addition, the rise of Daisuke Nakashima, who reached the required number of at-bats for the first time and hit six Home Run, is a bright sign for the future.
Saitama Seibu Lions

Nevin 's 21 Home Run, third in the league, as well as his .794 OPS, second among players with the required number of at-bats, and AB/HR, fourth in the league, have shown his outstanding productivity and power since his first year in Japan. He also posted impressive results in each batting category, with 141 hit and 63 RBI, both of which were third in the league, and he has been a driving force behind the batting line-up as the team's main batter.
Rookie player Seiya Watanabe was sidelined twice due to injury, but still recorded 12 Home Run, second on the team. He attracted attention with his high average in the early stages of the season, even topping the batting average rankings at one point, but what is particularly noteworthy is that he also achieved a certain level of success in terms of long-range hitting.
Despite being sidelined by injury,
Manaya Nishikawa hit 10 Home Run and posted a solid OPS of .704. He showed his speed with 25 stolen base and also demonstrated his superior power in terms of long-range hitting. Yuto Koga and Cedeño also hit seven Home Run, highlighting the team's overall improvement from last season, when the team struggled to hit well.
Chiba Lotte Marines

Soto hit 21 Home Run in 2024, second on the team and fourth in the league, but this season his numbers have dropped to Home Run Still, he hit the most Home Run on the team and made his presence felt on a team that finished last in the league, so it will be interesting to see if he can bounce back next season when he is no longer allowed to play as a foreign player.
Daito Yamamoto, who won the double crown in Home Run and RBI in Eastern League in 2024, hit 10 Home Run by July and made such a leap that he was the cleanup hitter for a time. He hit a wall in the final stages of the season, going more than two months without Home Run on August 6th, but he is having a promising season for the future.
Koki Yamaguchi hit seven Home Run in just 35 games, and recorded an AB/HR ratio of 15.14, comparable to Reyes. Polanco 's performance dropped significantly due to an injury, but Ryusei Terachi, in his second year since graduating from high school, and Raito Ikeda, who is recovering from injury, each hit five Home Run, which is a positive sign.
Orix Buffaloes

Yutaro Sugimoto hit a team-leading 16 Home Run, marking his fifth consecutive year with double-digit Home Run. His OPS of .758 was fourth among players who reached the required number of at-bats, and his AB/HR was fifth, both of which were among the best in the league. Although he has had ups and downs in his performance, he has been a key hitter and is helping the team recover.
Yuma Tongu also bounced back from his slump in 2024, when he finished with a batting average of .197, hitting 13 Home Run as a regular first baseman baseman, second on the team. Keita Nakagawa also achieved a batting average of .284 and an OPS of .746, rivaling his 2022 victory, and hit 12 Home Run, tying his career high.
Ryo Ota, who was competing for the hitter title until the end of the season, had a breakthrough season with a Home Run average of .283, an OPS of .710, and hit double digit home runs for the first time in his career. Kotaro Kobayashi also showed great performance with 9 Home Run, a batting average of .260, and an OPS of .703, and many players showed a certain level of power in hitting.
Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks

Last season's Home Run king Hotaka Yamakawa, had a batting average of just .226, which was lacking in consistency, and he was forced to move to the minor leagues for training. However, he still hit 23 Home Run, second in the league, and recorded an AB/HR ratio second only to Reyes among players who reached the required number of at-bats, showing his determination as a power hitter who has won Home Run title four times.
Isami Nomura overcame the slump of the past two seasons, both of which saw him finish with a batting average in the single digits, to hit a career-high 12 Home Run posting an OPS of .733 and 18 stolen base. He has regained the power and speed that allowed him to hit 10 Home Run and steal 10 stolen base in his first year as a professional, and as a key player, he contributed greatly to the team's league championship.
Both
Kensuke Kondo and Ryoya Kurihara were forced to sit out the game due to injuries, but they proved their high ability by hitting a certain number of Home Run in their limited playing time. Tatsuru Yanagimachi, who won the title for highest on-base percentage, hit a career-high six Home Run, showing a glimpse of his growth in terms of power hitting.
Keep an eye on the top five Home Run hitters on the team next season
Hokkaido Nippon-Ham was the only team in the league with five or more players who hit double-digit Home Run, and Orix was followed by Kurebayashi, who was fifth with nine Home Run. Fukuoka Softbank also had a series of injuries to key players, but their top five players hit a total of 59 Home Run, showing that all of the teams in Class A had many players with a certain level of power.
Who will be the players in the top five of each team's Home Run rankings in 2026? We can look forward to the emergence of players who can guarantee long-range hitting power, which is thought to be one of the factors that will lead to a rise in the rankings, in the upcoming new season.
