"Mondays at Patele" was started with the desire to create a time for professional baseball and Pacific League fans to enjoy themselves even on Mondays, when there are fewer games. This week, Tsuji Hatsuhiko, Igarashi Ryota, and T-Okada appeared and selected "unbelievably good plays," or "Ana" for short. They each provided commentary from their own perspective, accompanied by footage.

First, Igarashi chose the diving catch performed by Fukuoka Softbank 's Ukyo Shuto in the game against Orix Buffaloes on September 2nd. Regarding this play, Igarashi commented, "This is the first time I've seen a player make catch and pump his fist while lying down! Only Shuto could have caught it, and if the ball had slipped, wouldn't it have been triple?" To which Tsuji replied, "No, he still has plenty of room." While smiling, he added, "I'm a bit picky about defense, you know," but also praised Shuto's high potential, saying, "(Shuto) has a really fast start. outfielder who started out as infielder are really good at diving catch."

Next, Tsuji picked out pitch of Saitama Seibu pitcher Tatsuya Imai whom he once managed. "He had two consecutive shutout game and 17 strike out, he was truly amazing," Tsuji said, praising Imai's performance this season. When Igarashi asked, "What kind of player is he as a player?" Tsuji replied, "I can't quite grasp it." Still, he added, "He keeps pitching even when he loses, gaining experience and growing so much. He's starting to realize he needs to be a team leader, and I think he's grown as a person as well."

T-Okada selected walk-off hits by Orix and Kenya Wakatsuki players. He said of Wakatsuki, who has hit walk-off three times this season, "He hit walk-off hit in the season opener. After that, when Wakatsuki gets the bat in the bottom of the 9th inning, the atmosphere in the stadium is like, 'He's going to make something happen,'" said T-Okada.

T-Okada continued, "He has always been a surprising hitter, but he has been consistent this year, and I don't think this year's third place standings would have been possible without him. Mr. Tsuji also spoke highly of Wakatsuki, saying, "I got hurt ...... (when he was the director)," and his impression of Wakatsuki was "He also hit home run with a lot of surprise, and as a catcher, he is good at blocking.
