On October 13th, Hitoshi Tamura appeared on the official Pacific League TV YouTube channel's "Mondays at Patele" segment and named key players for the final stage of the "Persol CS Pacific."

"Monday Pate-TV" was started with the desire to create a time for professional baseball and Pacific League fans to enjoy even on Mondays when there are fewer games. This week, Hitoshi Tamura, Masahiro Araki, and GG Sato appeared and predicted the key players for the final stage of the "Persol CS Pacific."

Among them, Tamamura nominated Fukuoka Softbank 's Yuki Yanagita and Hokkaido Nippon-Ham-Ham Fighters' Reyes as key players.

Regarding Reyes, Tamura commented, "He's a strong contender. He hits at the right times, so The Fighters have a good pitcher, and I think if he performs well, they'll be able to advance." Araki then began, "I watched his spring training in Nago the first year he came to Japan..." He praised Reyes' attitude towards baseball, saying, "He also works hard at base running. You can really like players like that."

Also, in the second half of the show, Tamamura predicted the outcome of the final stage: "Fukuoka Softbank 4 wins, Hokkaido Nippon-Ham 2 wins." When asked why, he prefaced his prediction by saying, "To be honest, I think The Hawks will decide it with three straight wins..." but added, "Looking at the season, the difference in head-to-head record is only one win, so I think it's a 50-50 tie." He smiled and said, "As a former The Hawks player, I chose this result!"
