On the 27th, Lotte's Misho Nishikawa was called up as an additional member of Samurai Japan for the "LUXAS Samurai Japan Series 2025 Japan vs. Korea."
Nishikawa commented through the team, "I'm honestly happy and honored. I feel a sense of responsibility. I believe my playing style will not change no matter where I am, so I hope to contribute to the team by playing to the best of my ability. I would also like to use this opportunity to gain a variety of experiences, talk to and absorb from many people, and increase my own knowledge."
Nishikawa joined Lotte as the first draft pick this season, and although he struggled with his batting in the early spring, he was promoted to the first team during the interleague games and began to produce results with the bat, ultimately appearing in 108 games with a batting average of .281, sixth in the league, and 27 doble, the most in the league.
