On the 7th, Seibu announced that pitcher Emmanuel Ramírez, player JD Davis, and player Leandro Cedeño would be returning to Japan.

pitcher Emmanuel Ramírez

"Although I was away from the first team for a while due to injury, overall it was a good season. The challenge was to learn Japanese baseball and figure out how to adapt, but I think I was able to give it my all in every aspect. The thing that surprised me most about coming to Japan was the incredible energy of the fans, which could even be described as their passion. Coming to the stadium for every game and cheering me on gave me strength. Thank you very much."

▼ JD Davis

"Joining the team in the middle of the season was difficult in many ways, but at the same time, it was fun. (Because I joined the team in the middle of the season) I wasn't conscious of personal goals or numbers, but it was fun to learn about Japanese baseball and culture and have new experiences. I believe The Lions will continue to get stronger from here on out. Thank you for your support."

▼ Leandro Cedeño

"It was a really tough season, the most difficult of my baseball career so far. I feel bad that I wasn't able to live up to the expectations the team had of me, and I'm sorry to the fans too. However, I'm glad that I was able to give it my all every day, even in those circumstances. The Lions fans are all wonderful, and I'm grateful for their support throughout the season."
