He threw 13 pitches in the first inning, allowing one Walk, one strike out, and no runs, marking a successful debut.
The right-handed pitcher, who was the runner-up at Koshien last summer, is in his first year as a professional this season, pitching three inning in two games in Eastern League, with no wins or ERA of 0.00. Prior to his debut on the first team, he said, "I hope to be able to show the fans what kind of player I am," and he made his case to the home crowd as a potential future ace.
