​Orix Buffaloes Kotaro Kobayashi scored one run with a solo home run from the ninth.

Kurebayashi started as the number 8 short stop. In the bottom of the sixth inning with the team trailing by two runs, he entered his second at-bat as leadoff hitter and swung through a fastball thrown by opposing starter Takayuki Kishi pitcher from count 1-2. The ball landed in the left-center stands, and immediately after conceding the lead, they scored one run.
