Active players give their all in a promotional video for Pacific League TV.

Pacific League TV has released a promotional video on its official YouTube channel featuring active players from the six Pacific League teams. This promotional video will be broadcast on various social media platforms and on some stadium screens.

In Fukuoka Softbank Hawks episode, we feature Akira Kawase who was a key player for the team both offensively and defensively last season. Pay close attention to his powerful and passionate acting, which is unexpected given his smart stance at the plate and in position, and his sure batting. Don't miss the full video.

[Three questions for Kawase after the photoshoot]

① What are your thoughts on today's performance?

Kawase: I thought, "This is actually pretty good!" (laughs). (Did you prepare?) I didn't do anything. But, last year's footage was being shown in various places, so I did it thinking, "Ah, it's probably going to be something like this." I'm looking forward to seeing how the video will be shown. It's a little embarrassing though.

② Do you watch Pacific League TV?

Kawase: The videos on Patele are really interesting, aren't they? The editing is great too. You can't help but be a little conscious of them, you know? Like, "I wonder if that play will be on Patele?" (laughs). When I make a good play, I hope it'll be shown, and then I get disappointed when it's not.

③ Please share your aspirations for this season with Insight readers.

Kawase: This year, I'll try my best to get lots of reactions and appear on Pacific League TV as many times as possible!
