Active players give their all in a promotional video for Pacific League TV.

Pacific League TV has released a promotional video on its official YouTube channel featuring active players from the six Pacific League teams. This promotional video will be broadcast on various social media platforms and on some stadium screens.

In Orix Buffaloes The Buffaloes segment, second-year player Yusuke Mugitani makes an appearance. His ability to respond smoothly to requests ensured the filming proceeded smoothly. Last season, he posted a batting average of .231 and stolen base in 79 games, and even greater success is expected from this young player this season. Check out his impressive performance!

[Three questions for Mugitani after the photoshoot]

① Now that we've finished filming today, please say a few words!

Mugitani: I never imagined I'd be in a commercial I used to watch all the time, so I was a little nervous. I think they've edited it well, so I'm looking forward to it airing and will do my best in the first team.

② Did you watch any past footage in preparation for filming?

Mugitani: I watched Furushima-san's (pitcher Seiryu Kotajima) video again. He's my mentor (laughs). I wonder if I've surpassed him... I'll leave it to the editing (laughs). I'm subscribed to Patere's channel! I like the thumbnails that make me want to tap them, and I watch the videos at home and say things like, "Ahhh, that's good."

③ Please give us a brief statement about your aspirations for this season!

Mugitani: Personally, my goal is to play in 100 games and earn a regular starting position, so I want to make a strong impression from the training camp onwards to achieve that. As for the team, I want to contribute to winning the league championship and becoming the best in Japan, and I will do my best to be a part of that!
