In the top of the 1st inning, Tohoku Rakuten Eagles took the lead with two outs and a runner on third with Daisuke Nakashima doble, and McCuscar's timely hit put them in the lead. In the top of the third, Rui Muneyama hit a doble and two Walk with one out bases loaded, followed by consecutive RBI hits from Itsuki Murabayashi and YG Yasuda. Furthermore, in this inning, Hikaru Ota, Fumiya Kurokawa, and Ryosuke Tatsumi all contributed timely hits, scoring nine runs in one go to pull away from Orix Buffaloes.

Receiving heavy support, Kenta Maeda pitcher delivered a perfect pitch through the fourth inning. In the bottom of the ninth, Ren Kajiya pitcher closed the game.

For the win Tohoku Rakuten Eagles, Ken Maeda pitcher earned his fourth win of the season. The lineup with 15 hit 12 runs was marked by McCuscar with 3 hit 3 RBI, and Kurokawa and YG Yasuda with 2 hit and 2 RBI. Meanwhile, the losing Orix Buffaloes saw Jerry pitcher collapse with 73 pitches and 8 hit runs 3 Walk 3 strike out 8 over 2.2 innings. The lineup didn't even reach 9 hit 4 runs.
