​Fukuoka Softbank Kensuke Kondo players have reached a professional career of 1,500 hit.

With only one step away from the record, he started as the third batter left fielder. In his first at-bat in the first inning, he pulled the fastball of the opposing starter Kaito Mori pitcher, broke through the first and second bases, and sent the ball to right field. With a sudden hit, he reached 1,500 hit in his career, and was met with warm applause from the crowd.

Since his third year as a pro in 2014, despite periods of injury, he consistently produced hit every year. In 2023, he won the Home Run Championship, and in 2024, he led the league hitter and MVP awards, as well as numerous titles including the Best Nine and Mitsui Golden Glove Awards. In his 15th season, he has played in 111 games so far, leading the lineup with 25 Home Run 92 RBI and a .305 batting average (pre-game).
