Hokkaido Nippon-Ham 's Yuma Imagawa hit his second home run of the season, a three-run homer.

In the bottom of the 5th inning, with the score 0-6, Castro and Ryota Isobata hit consecutive singles with one out, creating a scoring opportunity with runners on first and third base, and pinch hitter Imagawa was called up. On the second pitch thrown by opposing pitcher Naoyuki Uwasawa, Imagawa took a full swing and perfectly connected with an inside two-seam two seam fastball. He knew it was a hit the moment it left the bat, and it soared into the left field stands amidst a huge roar of cheers.

In his sixth season this year, Imagawa had a Home Run average of .281 and 6 home runs in 55 games in the minor leagues. He earned his first call-up to the first team of the season on August 14th and hit a pinch Home Run in the game against Orix Buffaloes on the 16th.
