Pacific League TV official YouTube channel's "Monday, Go to Patele" in August featured a shuffled cast. On August 10th, Ryota Igarashi and Yuji Kaneko appeared and talked about the appeal of Chiba Lotte Marines Lotte pitcher Naoya Naoya Masuda who achieved a total of 250 saves.

In the game against the Saitama Seibu Lions Lions on the 4th, Masuda took the mound in the top of the 9th inning with a two-run lead and retired the side in order with just eight pitches. Igarashi first praised pitcher Masuda, who became only the fifth player in NPB history to reach 250 career saves, saying, "Congratulations, Masuda! 250 saves is amazing. You have to be incredibly tough to achieve that number."

Kaneko also mentioned that "we both went to universities in the Kansai region, so we played against each other during our university days." Regarding their matches after turning pro, he revealed that he struggled with Kaneko's unique pitching form, saying, "It was really hard to get the timing right. He would lift pitch, twist it, and then twist it one more time at the end... I thought it was unfair (laughs)."

In response, Igarashi said, "As pitcher, knowing how much you can cheat within the rules is very important (laughs)." He continued, "(pitcher) is good at disrupting the timing in that regard. You can't make it this far without that kind of skill, so that's also part of what makes pitcher so appealing these days."
