From July 31st (Friday), the large-scale summer event "Summer Star! STARLIGHT GALAXY" will be held at Rakuten Eagles Mobile's Saikyo Park Miyagi.

This year's "Summer Stadium!" event, themed "STARLIGHT GALAXY," will transform the entire stadium into "outer space." A giant rocket sculpture approximately 8 meters tall and an Earth-themed sculpture will be installed in front of the stadium, along with limited-edition food and merchandise. Events related to "space" will also be held.

In addition to galaxy-themed gourmet dishes, this summer will see the introduction of extraordinarily large, space-themed menu items. These include "Space-Sized The Eagles Fried Chicken" (¥5,999 including tax), a version of their famous The Eagles Fried Chicken (4 pieces per box) now weighing over 1.2 kg, and "Black Hole Popcorn" (¥8,888 including tax), packed with countless pieces of popcorn, both available in limited quantities. A total of 41 galaxy-themed gourmet dishes will also be offered.

[VR event "Space Donuts ~Let's launch a rocket from Tohoku!~" held]
From August 18th (Tuesday) to 23rd (Sunday), a "VR event" will be held as a space-themed experiential content where participants can try their hand at a rocket launch mission. Enter a miniature spaceport created in a VR space and try to launch a fictional rocket called "Eagle One," while learning about jobs related to space in a fun and interactive way. Participation fee is 500 yen (tax included).

[A planetarium has appeared in the main plaza]
A planetarium show will be held in the plaza in front of the stadium on days when the first team plays regular season from July 31st (Friday) to August 23rd (Sunday). Admission is free.

The collection will feature galaxy-themed printed jersey, aloha shirts with all-over prints, caps, and more. Merchandise featuring players and mascots in spacesuit designs will also be available.
