Chiba Lotte Marines Starting Yuki Karakawa pitcher came in the top of the 1st inning, but with leadoff Kota Hirayama's doble, runners on first and third were put in the game with no outs, and Cabbage gave up the lead due to a sacrifice fly. He then closer the next three inning runs without , but in the top of the fifth, a Hit by Pitch to Hirayama and a hit by Yamato Suzuki created a crisis, and Cabbage scored a ground ball with a runs. In this game, he pitched 5 innings with 72 pitches, 3 hit, 3 walks Hit by Pitch 2 runs, and mound out.

From the sixth inning, Humiya Motomae pitcher took the mound instead. In the top of the seventh, Dai Yuasa hit a doble and Takuya Kai hit a sacrifice bunt with one out and a runner on third, and Hirayama's sacrifice fly pitched a 1-3 game. After that, the only hit allowed through the ninth inning was a single pitch. He pitched well in four innings, throwing 55 pitches, two hit Walk and one runs.

Meanwhile, in the bottom of the first, Polanco hit a doble and Yu Tatematsu hit​, with one out and runners on first and third, and quickly tied the game thanks to Hiromi Oka 's timely doble. However, they struggled afterward. In the bottom of the sixth, Acevedo hit and an opponent's error created a good opportunity, but couldn't score a single home run. The game ended 1-3. Despite hitting 8 hit in total, they scored only 1 run, and the lineup couldn't connect. Notably, Oka has recorded 2 hit in two consecutive games.
