Chiba Lotte Marines conducted a fundraising activity at Zozo Marine Stadium for six days from October 1 to 6 to support those affected by Typhoon No. 25 of Reiwa 8 in Chiba Prefecture. A total of 1,783,907 yen in donations was collected.

This fundraising activity was carried out as part of the social contribution project "MARINES LINKS." During the period, donation boxes were set up inside and outside Zozo Marine Stadium, and fundraising activities were conducted by the team's official mascots and the official cheer performers "M☆Splash!!". In addition, for three days from October 2 to 4, pitchers and players called for donations, appealing for cooperation from visitors.

Furthermore, on October 2, the day before his retirement match, pitcher Yuki Karakawa, a native of Narita City, Chiba Prefecture, who participated in the fundraising activity, commented: "I am truly grateful that so many people came to donate today and spoke to me. While there was no particular damage in my immediate vicinity, among the flooded areas in Narita City were places I have visited since I was a child, and it pains my heart to see the news. I would be happy if the thoughts received from everyone today reach those who have been affected. Since I am scheduled to start tomorrow (the 3rd), I hope there is even one person who can gain courage by seeing me. I want to show a solid performance."

The donations collected this time will be donated in full to Chiba Prefecture and will be used to support the lives of those affected by the disaster.
