On August 9, in the 10th round of the Farm regular season vs. Chiba Lotte Marines vs. The Giants held at Keiyo Gas Clasimo Stadium Urayasu, Chiba Lotte Marines won a close 5-4 match.

Chiba Lotte Marines Starting pitcher Atsuya Hirohata pitcher retired all three batters in the first inning, and from the second inning onward, despite carrying runner in scoring position every inning, they fought tenaciously pitch and went runs four innings. However, the second pitcher, Riku Kikuchi pitcher, gave up two runs in the top of the fifth with two timely hits.

Third pitcher Yuto Nakayama pitcher pitched 2 runs in 2 innings, but Yusuke Azuma pitcher closed out the top of the 9th with no runs, ending the game 5-4. Tatematsu pitched 3 hit 2 RBI including Home Run, totaling 12 hit 5 RBI, showing the offense's momentum.
