On August 5, in the fifth round of the Farm regular season Saitama Seibu Lions vs. Hanshin Tigers held in Belluna Dome, Saitama Seibu Lions won convincingly 14-2.

Saitama Seibu Lions took the lead with 5 runs in the bottom of the 2nd inning with RBI singles by player Ryosuke Kodama and Ginjiro Sumitani, and Masayuki Kuwahara sacrifice fly. In the bottom of the 3rd, infield grounders and Yushin Kawada hit timely hits to add 3 more runs, and in the bottom of the 4th, Takeya Nakamura hit his 5th two-run homer, scoring 10 runs in the first half.

Starting pitcher Winance pitcher escaped a runs crisis with two outs and bases loaded in the top of the second inning, then retired inning three batters in a row. In the top of the sixth, with a series of hits and runners on second and third with no outs, he grounded out infield and pitched a wild pitch to give up two runs, but did not allow any further runs and was pulled after 6 innings with 92 pitches, 5 hit 1 Walk, 8 strike out, and 2 runs.

In the bottom of the sixth, Reon Murata added four more runs with his 10th three-run homer. From the seventh inning, Haruse Narita pitcher, Gonzalez pitcher, and Ryota Itokawa pitcher each connected the inning without runs, ending the game 14-2. Murata and Kawada recorded 2 hit and 3 RBI, totaling 11 hit and 14 points, with the team achieving their fourth straight win. Meanwhile, fourth pitcher pitcher Itokawa has been in good form, with 11 consecutive matches without runs.
