On August 5, in the 16th round between Fukuoka Softbank and Hokkaido Nippon-Ham held in MIZUHO PayPay Dome, Fukuoka Softbank win 7-5. The magic number "37" was lit.

Fukuoka Softbank 's starter, Ryosuke Otsu pitcher, gave up a run in the top of the first inning with one out bases loaded and Yuya Gunji sacrifice fly to give up the lead. In the bottom of the eighth, with two outs, Akira Kawase chose Walk, and Isami Nomura hit their fifth two-run homer to take the lead. In the top of the ninth, the sixth pitcher Kazuki Sugiyama pitcher ended the game with no runs, even though bases loaded was in trouble.

The losing Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Koki Kitayama pitcher struggled, throwing 52 pitches in 2 innings with 6 hit 1 Walk 2 strike out 5 runs (earned runs 3). The lineup managed to tie the game in the middle innings but failed to deliver the decisive hit. Mannami has achieved 20 Home Run for the second consecutive year.
