The lineup took the lead in the first inning with Yuta Nakazo's 15th two-run homer, followed by Daiju Nomura 's second two-run homer in the bottom of the second, giving them a 4-run lead from the start. The offense continued in the middle innings, with a timely single to Shun Akiyama in the bottom of the 5th and Reon Murata 's 9th three-run homer in the bottom of the 6th, bringing the score to 9-0.

Starting pitcher Haruki Sugiyama pitcher pitch the first inning of the hitter. In the top of the fourth, he was hit hard with two outs but retired the next batters with grounders on a grounder to infield. After that, he pitched with runner on his back, pitching 7 innings with 93 pitches, 4 hit, 1 Walk, 5 strike out and no runs, and was taken out of mound.

In the top of the eighth, Daiki Miura pitcher connected the game, and in the bottom of the eighth, Koji Kaneko added two more runs with a timely hit and a sacrifice fly by Cornier. The top of the ninth inning, trailing 11-0, was sealed by Masaya Kuroda pitcher. Saitama Seibu Lions showed a fierce 19-for-11 run, with rookie Sowa Yokota recording 4 hit and Akiyama 3 hit. With 3 Home Run, he pulled away from his opponent.
