​Orix Buffaloes Tomoya Mori player hit a two-run single that temporarily took the lead.

In the top of the fourth, immediately after starting pitcher Naruki Teranishi pitcher gave up a one-run lead, players Ryoma Nishikawa and Ryoma Yamanaka reached base with consecutive hits, and with one out and runners on second and third, Mori came to bat. From full count, he caught the breaking ball of the opposing starter, Chihiro Sumida pitcher, and the ball cleared between first and second bases. Yamanaka, who had runner second, scored two runs and successfully took the lead.

Mori, who has recorded RBI in four consecutive games against Saitama Seibu Lions, boasts a .412 batting average against Mori (as of pre-game), showing great chemistry. He was temporarily sidelined in June due to poor upper body condition, but it is uncertain whether he can lead the lineup in the second half.
