​Reyes of Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters hit his 22nd home run of the season.

In the bottom of the third inning, with a three-run lead, he stepped up to the plate for his second at-bat as the leadoff hitter. On a 1-0 count, he connected with breaking ball from opposing pitcher Tokito Kawamura, sending the ball straight to the center field scoreboard. It was his first home run of the second half of the season, bringing in a valuable additional run.

Reyes also hit Home Run in the second game of the "Mynavi All-Star Game 2026" on the 29th. He has a good record against Chiba Lotte Marines, with a batting average of .415 against them (as of before the game), and this was his eighth Home Run in that series, showing that he is maintaining his good form in the second half of the season.
