On July 20, in the 22nd game between Farm regular season Fukuoka Softbank and Hiroshima held at Tamahome Stadium Chikugo, Fukuoka Softbank lost 1-3.

Fukuoka Softbank 's starter, Hokuto pitcher, started the first inning with one out and hit runs the start. Then, in the bottom of the first, Hotaka Yamakawa gave the lineup the lead with a timely doble. Hokuto pitcher, supported by a pitch of innings, retired with three batters each through four innings. However, in the top of the fifth, with two outs, they faced a bases loaded crisis, but Daiki Kishimoto's RBI hit and a teammate's error allowed them two runs and allowed the lead. Nevertheless, he closer the next two inning without runs and was pulled after two runs in the seventh inning.

In the top of the eighth, the second pitcher, Taisei Kimura pitcher, had a runs. From the second inning onward, the lineup had moments when they reached base at hit, but the game was far ahead of Hiroshima pitcher. In the bottom of the eighth, leadoff Yoshiyasu Sasakawa reached base with a doble, but it didn't lead to a run. In the bottom of the ninth, trailing by two runs, leadoff player Takahashi Takahashi reached base at Walk, but the next batters went down and the game ended.

The losing Fukuoka Softbank had starting pitcher Hokuto pitcher throw 100 pitches in 7 innings, 6 hit 3 Walk 3 strike out 2 runs. The lineup took the lead in the first inning but couldn't capitalize on the opportunity. Sasagawa recorded 4 hit 1 stolen base.
