On July 20, in the seventh round of the Farm regular season Chiba Lotte Marines vs. The Giants held in Lotte Urawa Baseball Stadium, Chiba Lotte Marines suffered a heavy defeat with a score of 3-11.

Chiba Lotte Marines allowed a one-run lead in the bottom of the first inning with two outs and runners on first and third, and Ryusei Miyazaki hit a timely single to tie the game. However, starting Yuji Nishino pitcher gave up a triple to the leadoff pitcher in the top of the fourth inning, allowing the infield to take the lead between grounders. In the top of the fifth, he threw 1 inning 3 wild pitches, lacking control, and gave up 3 runs in this inning.

From the top of the sixth, Radney pitcher took the mound but was pulled after 12 consecutive pitches without recording an out. Kosuke Nagashima pitcher, who came in with no outs bases loaded, gave up two runs on bases-loaded Walk and RBI hits. The tough pitch continued, with the fourth pitcher Genki Ishigaki pitcher two runs in two innings and the fifth pitcher Yusuke Azuma pitcher two runs in the first inning.

The lineup wanting to get back at the bottom of the 7th inning saw Shogo Nakamura hit and Walk with one out, runners on first and second, and runner scored home on an open call by an opponent. With one out and runners on second and third, Daito Yamamoto hit a timely hit to bring in two runs in the inning. Even so, the comeback ended there. From the eighth onward, two inning were retired in succession, and the game ended 3-11.

The losing Chiba Lotte Marines was led by starter pitcher Nishino, who pitched 5 innings with 6 hit, 2 Walk, and 5 runs. The relief staff also struggled to runs and couldn't regain momentum. The lineup saw Yamamoto record a 2-hit RBI for three consecutive hit in three consecutive games, and Ryu Miyazaki recorded RBI in two straight games.
