Saitama Seibu Lions starter Towa Uema pitcher gave up the lead in the first inning with Tomoya Inoue 's third two-run homer. In the top of the fourth, he gave up one run in sacrifice fly, and after 5 innings of 71 pitches, 5 hit 2 Walk 3 strike out 3 runs he was taken out. The lineup came in the bottom of the 1st inning with Ryosuke Kodama 's first solo homer to bring in one run.

In the top of the sixth, Wataru Matsumoto pitcher took the mound but was runs four with Ayato Inoue's third three-run homer and Takashi Furuichi's second solo homer. In the bottom of the eighth, the lineup had hit by Hiroto Saito and Yuito Arai, with runners on first and second, and Koichi Okumura scored with a timely hit, but the gap remained unchanged and the game ended 2-9.
