On June 22nd, Rakuten Eagles Group's sponsored game, "Rakuten Eagles Super Nighter" (Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles vs. Saitama Seibu Lions), was held at Tokyo Dome.

Six members of the Rakuten Girls, the official cheerleading group of the Taiwanese professional baseball Rakuten Monkeys, attended as guests and performed a collaborative performance with Rakuten Eagles official cheerleaders, Tohoku Golden Angels. Rakuten Eagles cheerleaders from Japan and Taiwan teamed up to add a touch of glamour to the annual game held Tokyo Dome.

KAO from Tohoku Golden Angels: "We want to deliver performances that shine in their own unique way."

"Opportunities to perform together are rare, so I'm glad we were able to dance together on such a big stage as Tokyo Dome!" said KAO, captain of the Tohoku Golden Angels, reflecting on the collaboration.

Regarding backstage communication with the Rakuten Girls members, she revealed details of the exchange between the Japanese and Taiwanese cheerleaders, saying, "I prepared my initial greeting in Chinese and did my best to speak. There were Japanese members and an interpreter present, but Japanese, English, and Chinese were all being spoken, and I think we were able to communicate using gestures as well."

KAO also said that she was impressed by Rakuten Girls, noting that "each member has a distinct personality, and each one shines." She added, "We want to work together where we need to, and deliver a performance where each of us shines in our own unique way," expressing her renewed enthusiasm for her own team activities, which she felt after performing with them.

Meanwhile, for the members of "Rakuten Girls" who had traveled all the way from Taiwan, performing in front of Japanese fans was a challenge. Kaho Takahashi, the only Japanese member, said:

"I am filled with a sense of accomplishment now that we have been given the opportunity to perform in Japan. There are big differences between cheerleading in Taiwan and Japan, so showcasing Japan's powerful dance style was a challenge for us. However, it was a truly valuable experience to be able to perform together with the Tohoku Golden Angels and have so much fun. I hope to see you all in Taiwan next time!"

Ying Le, also a member of "Rakuten Girls," said this and expressed her gratitude for the warm support from fans in Japan and Taiwan.

"I was so happy to be able to perform in front of so many people. The venue was so big that I was nervous at first, but when I saw not only our Japanese fans but also those who came all the way from Taiwan to support us, I felt a great sense of relief and joy. Thank you so much!"
