I would like to introduce KAO, Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles official cheerleader "Tohoku Golden Angels".
Born in Miyagi Prefecture on August 21, her nickname is "Kao-chan" and her hobby is watching various dance videos. Since elementary school Rakuten Eagles, KAO has been taking lessons at a cheerleading school for nine years, and has also worked as a cheerleader for a professional sports team in the Kanto area. In her second year with the team, she was selected as captain and has grown into a leader of the team.
KAO says, "I want to make the most of my one year of experience, in which I gained many valuable experiences and learned a lot, and grow even more. Since starting cheerleading, my personality has changed from passive to bright and proactive, and I feel that the cheer spirit has naturally instilled in me empathy and good manners. Furthermore, the encounters I've had through cheerleading are a lifelong treasure.

[Tohoku Golden Angels]
Formed in 2005, the year the team was founded, this season marks their 22nd year as a cheerleading team. For the 2026 season, they have 25 members in total: 9 new members and 16 returning members. In addition to energizing the stadium and supporting the team through their performances, the cheerleading team also engages in PR activities through appearances in various media outlets and works as cheer dance school instructors, aiming to be a "bridge" connecting the team with fans and the local community.
They also place great importance on revitalizing the entire Tohoku region, and one of their distinguishing features is their active interaction with local people, such as visiting elementary and junior high schools throughout Tohoku and visiting kindergartens and nurseries with the team's official mascot.
