On June 6, the second round of the "Nippon Life Central-Pacific Interleague 2026" between The Giants and Chiba Lotte Marines in Tokyo Dome ended in a 1-1 draw.

In the top of the second inning, the lineup took the lead with two outs and bases loaded after Atsuki Tomosugi hit, and the opponent's wild pitch gave them the lead. However, in the bottom of the sixth, Keisuke Sawada pitcher succeeded him, allowing Takuzo Oshiro to hit his game-tying solo homer for the fifth game, and the game started anew. In the bottom of the ninth, Rikuto Yokoyama pitcher caused a bases loaded crisis with two outs, but infield grounded out and escaped the jam, sending the game into the extra inning series.
