Starting pitcher Kito Kobayashi pitcher had runs overlap from the start, pitching 6 innings with 90 pitches, 9 hit, 4 walks, Hit by Pitch 4 runs. In the bottom of the fifth, the lineup created a good opportunity with Moreno's doble and Walk, and Hotaka Yamakawa scored two runs with an error on a timely hit.

In the top of the 7th, Shunsuke Iwai pitcher connected the relievers, and in the top of the 8th, Rodriguez pitcher retired all three batters including two struck out. In the top of the ninth, Fuga Otake pitcher closer and waited for a run to get in. However, the lineup was only 1 hit after the sixth inning, ending the game with a 2-4 lead. A total of 5 hit was disappointing.
