Chiba Lotte Marines 's Shogo Nakamura has been struggling so far, with a batting average of .174 in seven farm team games. Nevertheless, in his sixth game on the 22nd against Saitama Seibu Lions, he recorded two hit and one RBI. In his 12th professional season, he missed out on making the opening day roster for the first time in 11 years since his rookie year, but he hopes to steadily improve his performance.

Can Leo Shibata produce results with his batting?

The first game between Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters and The Giants will be held at The Fighters Kamagaya Stadium starting at 1:00 PM.

Hokkaido Nippon-Ham are keeping an eye on their two-way player, Leo Shibata. This season, he made his farm team debut on the 21st and has also played in 6 games as fielder, but his batting average is a disappointing .100. Can he produce results with his bat?

Takumi Aono, a third-year high school graduate, continues his appeal.

The third game between Tohoku Rakuten Eagles and Tokyo Yakult will be held at Shinrindori Stadium Izumi starting at 1pm.

For Tohoku Rakuten Eagles, Takumi Aono has recorded a batting average of .342. He has recorded RBI in three consecutive games starting from the game against Oisix Niigata on the 22nd, and in the game against Hokkaido Nippon-Ham on the 26th, he hit a leadoff single in the bottom of the 4th inning that set up a scoring hit. In his third year since graduating from high school, he continues to produce results at the plate in order to make his debut in the first team.

Third-round draft pick Shun Akiyama is in good form with a batting average of .324.

At CAR3219 Field, the third game between the Saitama Seibu Lions and the Chunichi Dragons will be held starting at 1:00 PM.

Saitama Seibu Lions 's third-round draft pick, rookie Shun Akiyama, is off to a great start, batting .324 in nine games so far. He accompanied the first team during spring training and hit a two-run homer in a practice game on February 25th. He only managed two At Bat in 13 hit during the open games and didn't make the opening day roster, but he'll be looking to make an impression in the minor leagues.

Hawks' Soichiro Ishizuka is on a four-game hit streak.

The third game between Fukuoka Softbank and Orix Buffaloes will be held at Tama Home Stadium Chikugo starting at 1:00 PM.

​Soichiro Ishizuka of Fukuoka Softbank Hawks is currently on a four-game hit. He has also recorded RBI in two of those games, including a go-ahead RBI single against Hiroshima on the 26th. On the other hand, Ryoma Yamanaka of Orix Buffaloes Buffaloes is a player to watch. After joining the farm team on the 19th, he had three hit on the 21st and hit on the 25th, but has not had a hit in the other five games, resulting in a batting average of .192. He will be looking to accumulate hit more consistently.
