I also enjoyed sightseeing in Tokyo for the first time in three years.

Florence Kennelly, the beloved daughter of Australian national team player Tim Kennelly (see interview here), rose to fame at the 2023 WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC. Many baseball fans will remember her adorable cheering, "Let's go George!" and "Let's go Daddy!"

Florence is now six years old and has returned to Tokyo Dome to support her father, Kennelly, who is retiring after this tournament, and the Australian team.

"I'm really looking forward to it!"

That's what Florence said before the match. When I asked her how she would cheer for the team this time, she said,

"Let's go daddy, let's go daddy! Grand slam, grand slam!"

Florence demonstrated this with a carefree smile, and during her return visit to Japan she also went to TeamLab Planets TOKYO, and it seems that in addition to supporting her dad, she is also enjoying her first stay in Tokyo in a while.

starting line-up is scheduled to start in the ninth position and right field in the match against Japan. Although he has yet to hit a ball in this tournament, he will be hoping to turn his family's enthusiastic support into motivation and perform well.
