
Seibu Lions Shuta Tonosaki infielder (33) of the "Nango Camp" on October 10, and made a great sound as he hit two sac flyers.
With a sharp swing, Tonozaki's bat produced one powerful hit after another.
"It feels good. I'm currently in the stage of trying out various things while also looking at the quality. I'm imagining it as a dramatic change in my batting form. There's a great feeling of strength and power when it hits. I'd like to be able to do that all the time, but we'll see how it goes in a real game."
In the batting cage next door, infielder Kazunari Ishii (31), who was transferred as a free agent from Nippon-Ham and is competing for the starting position at second base, also produced a pleasant sound. When asked if there was much tension between them, he calmly replied, "Not at all. That will change once we get into actual games. At this stage, there is no tension at all." They will improve each other through friendly competition and make this a fulfilling season.
