On May 29, the first round of the Farm regular season Orix Buffaloes vs. Hokkaido Nippon-Ham held in Sugimotoshoji Buffaloes Stadium ended in a 3-3 draw.

In the bottom of the second, the lineup created opportunities with consecutive hits by Kazuya Katsuki and Ryoma Ikeda, and scored the first run despite an error. However, starting pitcher Perdomo pitcher tied the game in the top of the third with a timely hit by Martinez, and in the top of the fourth, Ryosuke Myose hit his fourth two-run homer to take the lead.

Perdomo pitcher was pulled after 69 pitches in the 4th inning, 6 hit 1 Walk 3 runs (earned runs 2), and from the 5th inning, the first draft pick rookie Atsuya Fujikawa pitcher pitched in his third game. He threw 3 inning, 3 hit, 1 Walk, and no runs. The lineup scored one run in the bottom of the fourth with a timely infield hit by Yusuke Mugitani player, but still trailing 2-3 by one run and heading into the bottom of the ninth.

In the bottom of the ninth, with Walk and Haruto Mikata hit and other bases with two outs and runners on second and third, the score was tied between the opponent's battery errors. The game went into extra inning games, and in the top of the 10th inning, Nobuyoshi Yamada pitcher closer runs. In the bottom of the 10th inning with a tiebreaker and no outs and a runner on second, the game ended in a tie after closer Suguru Fukuda pitcher.

On the other hand, Hokkaido Nippon-Ham was starter Ryodai Matsumoto pitcher throwing 88 pitches over 5 innings, 5 hit 2 Walk 5 strike out 2 runs. Akise marked 2 hit 2 RBI, including a one-time go-ahead homer, and Martinez marked 3 hit 1 RBI, but after the fifth inning, despite having good chances, they failed to score.
