On May 7th, Ryota Igarashi and Sho Nakata appeared on Persol Pacific League TV's official YouTube channel "Monday to Patele" and talked about the players who played an active role in GW.

From April 28th to May 6th, the two players who played the nicest pitch and pitcher the player who hit the nicest hit were selected and presented the "Ryota Award" and the "Nakata Award".

Mr. Igarashi selected Saitama Seibu Lions and Mitsunari Takahashi pitcher, who showed a good pitch of 2 hit runs in the 6th inning in the Fukuoka Softbank game on May 6. Since there was an accident in the top of the third inning in which the batted ball hit, Mr. Igarashi said, "If it was true, I thought it would be useless to get off the mound sooner."

"There were a lot of balls that missed a little (immediately after the ball hit), but I felt that he was an ace after all, and I was impressed by his pitching to throw it all the way," he said, saying the reason for his selection, "The vertical slash is good, the control is good, and if it hadn't hit my feet, I think I could have thrown a longer inning."
