On May 7th, Ryota Igarashi and Sho Nakata appeared on Persol Pacific League TV's official YouTube channel "Monday to Patelle" and predicted the winning team based on the battles so far.

Mr. Nakata said that he wanted to support his former team, Hokkaido Nippon-Ham, and cited Orix Buffaloes, who is currently in first place, saying that they are playing in a good way. And he explains the reason as follows.

"The special team batting average is not good, and the team ERA and Home Run are not good, but being the first to win 20 games means that we can definitely win games that are 1 point and we can't drop here. We are able to fight like that at home."

On the other hand, Mr. Igarashi mentioned Saitama Seibu Lions and commented, "The connection of the batting line is good, and I can't hit Takahashi (Kosei) or Taira (Kaiba)." In particular, about Mitsusei Takahashi's pitcher, he highly praised the pitch on the 6th, saying, "The tempo is insanely fast, I thought he was doing a pitch clock."

In response, Mr. Nakata pointed out, "Originally, there were cases where the tempo was bad due to walk, etc., so maybe I was consciously throwing." He said he is not good at fast-paced pitcher, and said, "Prepare quickly while adapting to the opponent...... I really don't like things like that."
